One day last week, I heard of a financial need for an upcoming ladies’ conference. As I listened, my first thought was, “I can meet that need.” Later that day, we dropped off a check to take care of the need – I thought no more about it until I received a note from the leader of that conference.
She thanked me for meeting the need in her note, but she didn’t stop there. She made a statement that pierced my heart. She said, “Not only did your gift meet the need, but I needed a confirmation that God would show His kindness to me again.”
We have all been there, or at least I know I have – when we have questions.
I know God heals, but will He heal me?
I know God meets financial needs, but will He meet mine?
I know God blesses, but can I hope He will bless me?
She said, “I have seen God’s kindness to me personally, but will I see it again?”
We have seen God’s hand heal the sick, but we still wonder if He will heal us or our loved ones. We have seen God meet needs—He has even met our needs—but will He meet this one this time?
Perhaps we feel we haven’t cared for our bodies, so we question if we will receive healing. Or maybe we have not been diligent with our money or faithful in our giving, and we wonder if God will meet our needs when we have not been faithful. The Bible has the answer to that question.
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. (2 Tim 2:13)
I just love that!
Even when we are faithless, He remains our faithful God.
God’s Word promises that He will bless us. Of course, those blessings sometimes have conditions, but it is not God who causes us to question His blessings—that would be Satan.
It was in the very beginning that Satan tried to get Adam and Eve to question God. He is still trying to do the same thing today. His strategy hasn’t changed. He still says, “Did God really say that? Did He really say He would bless you?”
God has said He will bless you. Do not question that truth and don’t allow the enemy to place thoughts in your mind that will put doubt in your mind or heart.
God has not only promised to bless you but has also secured healing for you and will provide all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. God has said the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but He has come to give you abundant life.
Today, I want to leave you with scriptures to pray and declare over you and your family.
Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. (Gen 22:17
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (Jn 10:10)
Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. (Numbers 23:20)
My friend, never forget, our God blesses today and YES! He will bless you. He will heal you. He will show YOU His kindness and glory. It belongs to you through the blood of Jesus Christ. Never believe anything less.
